Mary Gordon, Founder and President of Roots of Empathy, was invited to speak at the opening event of HundrED’s 2023 Innovation Summit about the inspiration and impact of Roots of Empathy, long honoured by the Finnish organization. HundrED annually evaluates education programs for their impact on delivering quality education innovations that ‘transform school systems’ and equip students to ‘thrive as global citizens’. Roots of Empathy was inducted into HundrED’s permanent Hall of Fame in 2023 for ‘Education Innovation’, after being selected as part of their top 100 for the prior 5 years in a row.
